  • Can I buy PLAYR in my country?

    We’re shipping across most of Europe as well as the US and Australia, but if you can’t find your location on our shop page, you can purchase PLAYR from Amazon, prodirectsoccer.com, unisportstore.com or xxl.no to name a few alternatives.

  • Is there a team solution for PLAYR?

    While our number one focus is the player, we recognise the importance of the team. PLAYR allows you to create a team, invite your friends/teammates, or join another, allowing you to quickly share your data.

  • Can I use PLAYR on my Windows phone?

    Unfortunately not, PLAYR is not compatible with Windows phones.

  • What Android software do I need to download the PLAYR app?

    To make the most of your PLAYR experience you’ll need an Android phone with at least Android 5.1.1 and Bluetooth 4.0. If in doubt check with our team by emailing us on support@playrsmartcoach.com.

  • How does PLAYR help me improve my game?

    PLAYR uses the latest GPS to track your game when you train and play. Our intuitive PLAYR app analyses your data, and tailors advice from Premier League coaches based on your stats to help you ensure your preparation, performance and recovery is similar to that of a professional player.

  • What sports can I use PLAYR for?

    PLAYR has been specifically designed for soccer players at every level of the game.

  • Can I use PLAYR indoors?

    PLAYR can only be used outdoors as it needs access to a GPS signal.

  • What does PLAYR measure?

    PLAYR measures your sprint distance, total distance covered, top speed, power plays, as well as load and intensity metrics. All of this plus a GPS positional heat map, you can expect to have every aspect of your game revealed. Not only do we put the numbers that matter most right at your fingertips, but we also compare them to the world’s best players and the PLAYR community.

  • How accurate are the results?

    PLAYR detects up to 1200 movements per second and measuring to the nearest 100cm. Using technology developed by our parent company, Catapult, who work with over 2500 professional teams, this technology is designed to give you reliable and accurate data to inform your training.

  • Is PLAYR accessible via a Desktop or iPad?

    We wanted PLAYR to be accessible wherever and whenever and that’s why it has been designed as a mobile app to fit that purpose.

  • Can I play on five-a-side?

    Absolutely – who doesn’t love five-a-side?

  • Is there a subscription fee for PLAYR?

    No. Once you purchase the PLAYR system, you can access the PLAYR app for free.

  • How do I contact you?

  • How old do you have be to use PLAYR?

    Based on current data protection legislation, if you’re under the age of 16 you will need your parents’ or guardian’s permission to download and use the PLAYR app. If you’re under the age of 13, most data protection laws don’t allow you to use our app regardless of parental consent.
